Tonight was "County Night" at Concert In The Parks which is held every summer for six weeks at Hart Park where I spent much of my growing up years hanging out. It is really fun and the best part is walking up the steps, passing the pool and smelling the water with a touch of chlorine in it. It reminds me of when I was a young girl and spent countless hours swimming in that pool and even winning some ribbons for competing. Oh, this past year they did a "remodel" of the pool, but it truly looks the same to me.
We had a great night with good music, yummy food we brought and good company. I always see people that I know from Orange and surrounding Cities.
After the concert we went to McDonald's for coffee and a treat and now I am calling it a night.
Stay safe and remember to enjoy and "give" a little of yourself today!

"All Shook Up"!
Last, night we went to our class at Church which is how to be the "Exemplary Husband" and the "Excellent Wife" and the chapter was on fear. Just about 11:45 am, we had a huge shake up. There was an earthquake that measured 5.8 in Chino Hills which is not too far from here. A few pictures fell off the shelf and broke the glass, books fell and stuff was moved around. Thank God there have been NO injuries reported at this time. Boy, I did have to reflect on what we were going over last night about having no "fear" and trust the Lord will carry you through.
I have been a bit nervous but have continued to work on my "ongoing" projects of removing "clutter". I am doing pretty darn good.
Our neighbor's Mother did pass away today so I will be taking over some food today or tomorrow.
Enjoy your day and be safe. My one fear is that my daughter is sooooooooo far away that I could not love on her in case of a huge earthquake. I'll give it to the Lord!

"Getting Started"!!
Several months ago my daughter encouraged me to start my own "Blog" and today is my very 1st post!! I have so many desires to do soooooooo many things which can truly "clutter" your mind but, there is always a way to "un-clutter" and get going!!
My number one passion is to make a "difference" in someones life by just listening or sharing a little bit of "myself". In my career, I was able to do so which was very rewarding and also with family and friends. Yesterday, I delivered cake & tomatoes along with a note to a neighbor whose Mother came home to die in her daughter's home (Melinda). Last night I took cupcakes to a USC Football Tailgate Party and attempted to to decorate them in the school's colors but wasn't so successful. They were well received (no pun on words) and everyone did say they were delicious. Today, I am taking some angel food cake to the Brock's Home with a note to let them know that we are sorry for the loss of their Grandmother. Tomorrow, is our class at Church so I made brownies to share.
I feel good about taking the time to "journal" my thoughts, actions and hearts desires to share with other people who share their stories and perhaps I can leave a "Legend" for my family!
Blessing to you!
